The Mitutoyo 326-251-30 0-25mm electronic thread measuring micrometer is a special type with a clamp part, also known as a measuring head (static and mobile), that is completely different from conventional micrometers. The static "V" shaped beak is concave to apply to the top of the thread, the dynamic "V" beak is convex to apply to the base of the thread. This type of thread measuring micrometer can change the jaw to correspond to each thread pitch range and different standards.
